GROVE CITY FAT QUARTER GUILD TRUNK SHOW from Kwilty Pleasures

I've had a bit of fun this year providing
trunk shows for various guilds.

The last one was in September and for the 
Grove City Fat Quarter Quilt Guild.

One of my Kwilty Girls, Patty Estadt
is an officer and the reason
 my introduction to the guild happened.

I''ll show the fronts of my quilts here in this post.
The backs are just as fun...but showing them
takes all the fun outa my future trunk shows.

And yes, every quilt has a story!

LORAINE COUNTY PIECEMAKERS and ME! from Kwilty Pleasures

Anytime I can talk about my quilting journey
with other quilters...its a good day.

After teaching a Plaidish workshop I was the guest
speaker for The Loraine County Piecemankers Guild!
Its a real treat to show my MODERN makes to an
almost all Traditional makers group!
They seem interested and lots of questions follow.

I was very excited to show the group many makes
that came along with stories and laughter.
Although I have been making quilts for 30 years
I often have to limit my trunk show to a certain time frame.
Picking those 15 or sew quilts ...

WINE TREE & TRUNK SHOW...hmmm? from Kwilty Pleasures

It was only November but I had Christmas on my mind.
Sew my "wine themed tree" went up early.


But I also had other things on my mind.
Like a quilt trunk show for 
The Columbus Metropolitan Quilt Guild in Columbus, OH

We had been trying to schedule this show since April 2019.
One thing and then COVID kept delaying the fun time.



I had pulled about 20 quilts from my collection that covered
the 30 years I have been quilting.

And then, on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 it was REALLY happening!
